We are a small, happy team (usually), many of whom have been with us from the start weathering those first rocky foot and mouth blighted months and our hectic first summer holidays. Their enthusiasm, efficiency and sense of humour (yes you Neil!) Has earned them many a favourable comment in our vistitors book. Long may it last!
And then there is the setting, the beautiful, ancient, Kelsick Hall, with
it's uneven floors causing many a customer to question his wine consumption.
The fabulous 16th Century wood panelling and the open fires which give a
cosy warm atmosphere on those cold, damp, lakeland winter evenings. Not to
forget our most famous resident, cosily tucked up in his priest hole with
his bible and glass of wine.
Outside, our terrace is much in demand on the long summer evenings, with
many diners lingering over a good bottle of wine to watch the world go by.
Gary, Shirley and the staff look forward to welcoming you to the Priest
Hole. We are happy to help with any enquiries or just e-mail us and we will
get back to you promptly.
To avoid disappointment we do recommend booking, particularly for large
groups or at busy times, why not pop in or phone to make your reservation.
